Latency
In Cut Through mode, the Triple Speed Ethernet MAC core begins transmitting an Ethernet frame before the entire packet is received on the AXI4-Stream interface. This reduces overall latency, as summarized in Table 1. For further details, refer to Cut Through Mode.

Note: Starting with IP version 7.1, an additional cycle of latency is
introduced to the TX path for Cut Through mode with width
adaptation on Trion devices. This change was
implemented to improve timing performance.
