Oversized RX Frame
At RX, every decoded RX frame is checked for its physical frame length and compared with
the user’s configured Maximum Transmission Unit Frame Length. If
the physical frame length is greater than the Maximum Transmission Unit Frame
Length, it is flagged as an oversized RX frame. When this occurs,
the Ethernet 10G MAC core asserts RX_AXI_TUSER and
increments the RX statistic reporting, cnt_rx_frame_oversized. Figure 1 describes an oversized RX frame.
