Sammy Cheung (サミー・チャン)
共同創業者、社長 兼 CEO
同分野での25年近くの経験を経たとき、当時のプログラマブル製品開発の手法ではお客様の抱えるさまざまな問題を解決できておらず、よりよい方法が必要だという考えに至り、共同創業者のトニー・ガイ（後述）と意気投合。その目標を果たすために、2012年、エフィニックス（Efinix®）を立ち上げました。サミーは、エフィニックスの社長 兼 CEO で、FPGA、CPLD、ストラクチャード ASIC、不揮発性メモリに関して広範な知識と経験を持ち、プログラマブル半導体の開発におけるエクスパートです。
Tony Ngai (トニー・ガイ)
共同創業者、共同社長 兼 CTO
トニーは、アルテラ社、ザイリンクス社、ラティス・セミコンダクタ社、AT&T ベル研究所において、20 年間 FPGA の開発経験を積んだ後に、共同創業者のサミーとともに、新しい柔軟な FPGA ファブリックの開発に着手しました。これまでの商用 FPGA アーキテクチャ開発で得られた知識をいかし、従来のものとは異なる、効率性に優れたアーキテクチャの開発を志しました。米国および海外において 40 件を超える特許を取得しており、FPGA アーキテクチャ、IC 設計、さらに配置配線 (PnR) ソフトウェアの知識を合わせ持つ、プログラマブルロジックのイノベーターです。
Richard Sevcik (リチャード・セビック)
エフィニックス (Efinix) の顧問を務めた後、リッチ氏は、ザイリンクス社のエグゼクティブ バイス プレジデントおよび取締役会メンバーとして 10 年近くを過ごし、四半期収益を 1 億 3,500 万ドルから 4 億 5,000 万ドル以上に引き上げることに貢献しました。その後は、半導体企業にコンサルティング サービスを提供する Sevcik Consulting を設立しました。2011 年にラティス・セミコンダクタ社に買収されるまで、シリコンブルー・テクノロジーズ社の取締役も務めました。現在は、AnDapt 社の取締役会および DSP コンセプト社の戦略取締役を務めています。
Christopher Norris (クリストファー・ノリス)
クリス氏は起業家であり、企業の構築と組織のリーダーとしての実績を持っています。直近では、アルタデバイセズ社の社長 兼 CEO を務めていました。アルタデバイセズ社の前は、BlueRun Ventures でベンチャー パートナーを務めていました。また、マイクロディスプレイ社で社長 兼 CEO を務め、サイプレス・セミコンダクタ社では VP 兼 ジェネラル マネージャとして 17 年間を過ごしました。現在は、自身の経営コンサルティング会社である Aurinko Group の創設者であり、案件の発掘、デリジェンスの管理、事業計画の精緻化や資金調達のプロセスを通じて起業家を指導しています。
Mohd Rashdan Abdul Razak
Mohd Rashdan Abdul Razak has served as a member of our board of directors since December 2023. Mr. Razak currently serives as Head of the Special Investment Unit in the Government Investment Companies Division of the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia. Mr. Razak began his career as a Research and Development Engineer in Japan and later in Malaysia before he joined the Malaysian Public Service Department as an Assistant Secretary in the Electricity Supply Division of the Ministry of Energy, Green Technology and Water. He has also served as the Senior Assistant Secretary in the International Relations Division of the Ministry of Higher Education and subsequently assigned to the Development Division in the same Ministry. Mr. Razak serves on the board of directors of Johor Port Berhad, Innocorp Ventures Sdn Bhd, Inno Bio Ventures Sdn Bhd and iGene Sdn Bhd. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Ibaraki University (Japan), an MBA from University Malaya (Malaysia), a Diploma in Public Administration from Institut Tadbiran Awam Negara (INTAN), and a Certificate in International Studies from University of Bath (United Kingdom).
Taraec Hussein
Taraec Hussein has served as a member of our board of directors since February 2026. Mr. Hussein is an investment professional focused on venture capital and private equity across Southeast Asia. He has served as Senior Principal of Jelawang Capital Sdn. Bhd. since March 2025. Prior to joining Jelawang, he was Vice President of Gobi Mavcap Management (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. from August 2017 to August 2023. Mr. Hussein began his career in investment banking, where he focused on equity capital markets, including initial public offering pricing, rights issues and secondary placements, before transitioning to venture capital. He currently serves on the board of directors of Axiata Digital Innovation Fund Sdn Bhd and Intres Capital Partners Sdn Bhd. Mr. Hussein holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester (United Kingdom).
Leslie Leung
Leslie Leung has served as a member of our board of directors since May 2024. He has served as a Senior Vice President at Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited (“CTFE”), a Hong Kong-based diversified investment holding company since February 2017. Prior to CTFE, Mr. Leung was a Strategic Investment Manager at Alibaba Group Holding Limited, and worked as an investment banker at Rothschild & Co. He served on the board of directors of Spinifex OWF Holdings Pty Ltd, Spinifex Offshore Wind Farm Pty Ltd, and other companies affiliated with CTFE, and as an alternate director for Pioneer Sail Holdings Pty Limited, Pioneer Sail Australia Pty Limited, Alinta Energy Pty Limited, and Latrobe Valley Power (Holdings) Pty Ltd. Mr. Leung holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Auckland (New Zealand), and is a CFA charterholder and a Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA).
