Robert brings more than 30 years of semiconductor industry experience to Efinix, with deep expertise spanning AI/ML acceleration, FPGAs, product marketing, and corporate development. At Efinix, he leads market growth, product strategy, and corporate development, to accelerate the company's growth in AI-driven edge computing markets.
Throughout his career, Robert has demonstrated a unique ability to transform emerging technologies into successful businesses. At Stretch Inc., he grew the company from zero to revenue, ultimately leading to its acquisition by Exar. Most recently as Vice President of Product at Untether AI, he developed product-market fit for breakthrough AI acceleration architectures and played a key role in venture capital fundraising. Robert has also held senior positions at Brainchip, Sagence AI, Xilinx, and spent more than a decade at Altera, where he led product planning, corporate marketing, and business development, driving strategic initiatives including M&A, corporate venture capital, and technology licensing for billion-dollar product lines.
Robert's expertise spans the full spectrum of bringing innovative semiconductor products to market—from identifying market requirements and developing go-to-market strategies to building high-performing teams and executing corporate development transactions. He has been a featured speaker at leading industry conferences including Hot Chips and has appeared on numerous technology podcasts. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The Ohio State University, where he was a National Merit Scholar.
